Thank you for choosing Size-In (the "App"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information and outlines the terms under which you may use the App. By installing or using Size-In, you agree to the terms below.

2. Information We Collect

Location Data — Only when you opt‑in to use the map feature. The latitude/longitude is used on‑device to reverse‑geocode a human‑readable address. It is not stored or transmitted to our servers.
Non‑Personal Usage Data — Anonymous crash logs and basic analytics (e.g. screen views) may be gathered via Google Play to help us improve stability. These logs contain no personally identifying information.
No Account Required — You can use Size-In without creating an account or providing personal details such as name or email.

3. How We Use Information

Any information we access is used solely to deliver core functionality:

Displaying your current position on the map so you can quickly drop a pin.
Converting the distance between two points into your chosen whimsical unit.
Diagnosing crashes and performance issues.

We do not sell, trade, or rent information to third parties.

4. Third‑Party Services

Google Maps SDK — Provides mapping tiles, geocoding, and camera controls. Google may collect data as described in its own Privacy Policy.
OpenAI API — Generates witty commentary and unit conversions. Only the text (locations and desired unit) is sent; no personal identifiers are included.
Ad SDK (Google AdMob) — If ads are enabled in a future release, AdMob may collect advertising identifiers to serve personalised or non‑personalised ads. We will update this policy before enabling ads.

5. Data Security

All calculations are performed locally or via secure HTTPS requests. We do not maintain a backend database containing user information. Nevertheless, no mobile application can guarantee absolute security; use Size-In at your own risk.

6. Children’s Privacy

Size-In is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. Because we retain no direct personal data, these rights typically do not apply; however, you may still contact us with any privacy‑related request.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this page to reflect changes in the App or regulations. Material changes will be announced in‑app or on the app store listing. Continued use of Size-In after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Terms of Service

9.1 License

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use Size-In for personal, non‑commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.

9.2 Acceptable Use

Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
Do not use the App for any unlawful or harmful activity.
Respect intellectual‑property rights of third parties.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

Size-In is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of its use.

9.4 Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, without regard to conflict‑of‑law provisions.
